SFHR's sub-associations are independent student groups that operate under the umbrella of the student association. They are founded and run by students to pursue specific projects, causes or interests within the student community.
Sub-associations differ from SFHR's member associations in that they are not the officially recognized student associations of particular academic departments at RU. They operate outside that structure and have more freedom to define their own purpose, organization and activities.
A sub-association's activities can include academic events, social gatherings or other projects that encourage active participation and community among students. Taking part in a sub-association is a great way to build knowledge, grow your network and make your mark on student life at Reykjavík University.
SFHR's sub-associations are:
- Lukka — the events club
- Sproti — the innovation and entrepreneurship committee
